The River Community Church is exploring why we do things. In particular, why the church does church things like pray, celebrate and talk about Jesus. Over the next five Sundays we will discover more about our why.
What should we expect at The River’s celebration gathering?
- We gather to celebrate
- We sing
- We pray
- We study the Bible
- We are prepared for the week’s activities with a blessing
- We dress casually
- We have coffee and juice available – and on occasion lovely pastries!
- We have opportunities for children to be taught at their level through Kid’s Club
- We have The Bend to communicate what is happening
- We have clipboards with activities to help the children connect with what is going on

During our time together, you’ll meet our staff, learn how to get involved and understand key truths of the Christian faith.
How do I get involved?
There are many ways to get involved.
1) Come to a worship service on the weekend.
2) Look into joining a Life Groups, and get to know some great people.
3) Come to Wednesday Night Activities, and pray with the church family.
